MacArthur, I never tire looking at your beautiful Coronado.
Thanks for the information on George Laurie. I know that he has a reputation, both good and bad. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt on their circumstances, and hopefully that won't set me up for being swindled in the future. I have never personally dealt with George, but I have seen several pieces that he has produced and they are all beautiful. I hadn't realized that he made those front emblems, so I would be happy to contact him when the time comes for me to replace mine. Same goes for lenses. SMS Auto Interiors has a similar reputation to George. Unfortunately it is hard to find vendors that carry a lot of what we are looking for, so I am grateful to get what I can, even if it means I have to wait a year for it. It's an unfortunate reality, but I am just glad that the parts are available at all.
Josh, I will shoot you an email. Thanks.

Recently rescued this 55 Firedome from a junkyard in Phoenix. It is almost 100% complete and original. It still ran after sitting for so long. This will be a learning build so progress is slow. I found refurbishing parts is alot easier than finding new ones. Sometimes a bad part just needs to be opened up and rewired or refitted.
Wow, Casey! That is a great junkyard find. Amazing what people are willing to scrap now days. Kudos, and keep us posted on your progress!

Congrats Casey...
That`s incredibly good looking DeSoto. Can´t even think about reasoning why someone has dropped such an beauty to the scrapyard?
PS.
Special thanks to Mark Kubancik. New brake shoes for my friend`s `55 are on the way home.
